A fortification, built in the 1595-1602 years during the reign of the tsars Fyodor Ivanovich (or Feodor I Ioannovich) and Boris Godunov. An architect: Fyodor Kon. The length of the walls is 3.73 miles. The towers of the fortress: Pyatnitskaya, Kopytenskaya, Bubleyskaya, Gromovaya, Donets, Makhovaya, Nicholsky, Zimbulka, Dolgochev, Voronin, Zaaltarnaya, Abraham, Orel, Pozdnyakov, Veselukha, Kostyrev, Volkov, Dnieper.
