Miskhor

Miskhor

This is a resort area located on the southern coast of the Crimea. Since 1958 Miskhor is not in administrative terms a freestanding town, but is included in the other town named Koreiz. Its most famous sight is the sculpture of “The Mermaid” (by A. G. Adamson), associated with the sad story about the girl Arza, who was kidnapped and sold to the Turkish sultan by a gangster Ali Baba.
