The Presidential Library to host the All-Russian Congress of social science teachers
18 - 19 May 2013, the Presidential Library will host the All-Russian Congress of social science teachers “Constitutional and legal values in the formation of a student’s personality." The event will take place as part of the III St. Petersburg International Legal Forum and is timed to coincide the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
Upcoming elections to be discussed at the Presidential Library
May 17, 2013, at the Presidential Library (3, Senate Square, St. Petersburg) at 10:00 a.m. will open the all-Russian meeting with the chairmen of election committees of the regions of the Russian Federation on "The tasks of the election committees for the preparation and holding of elections to bodies of state power of the regions of the Russian Federation and to local self-government agencies in a single election day September 8, 2013."

Video lecture on Ivan the Terrible and his age
March 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Moscow time will take place the regular video lecture of the Presidential Library "Knowledge about Russia." The focus of scholars, teachers and students, as well as the Internet audience, watching the lectures and discussion live on the website www.prlib.ru, will be the reign of Ivan the Terrible, one of the most controversially interpreted periods of the Russian history, associated with the reign, about which there is no opinion over the centuries.
