Director General of the Presidential Library elected Chairman of St. Petersburg Regional Branch of the Russian Military Historical Society
On May 21st, 2024, a general meeting of the St. Petersburg regional branch of the Russian public and state organization "Russian Military Historical Society" took place, during which a new chairman was elected. The new chairman is Yuri Nosov, the Director General of the Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation.

The Presidential Library of the Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation is participating in the Russian Library Congress, the XXVIII Annual Conference of the Russian Library Association (RLA), which will take place from May 19 to 24, 2024 in Kazan, the "Library Capital of Russia 2024". This is the largest event of the year in the field of libraries and it takes place on the eve of Russian Library Day. The theme of this year's conference is "Library in a Multipolar World".

The Presidential Library has added another documentary photo exhibition to its collection, titled Mariupol - Two Years Without War, by Rostov-based photojournalist Sergei Venyavsky. The official launch of the exhibition was held on May 20th, 2024, at the Frunze Central House of the Russian Army in Moscow.

The solemn opening of remote access centers to Presidential Library's information resources based on the pedagogical universities subordinate to the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation took place as well. The event was held within the framework of the Russian Meeting of Heads of executive bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation performing the state administation in the field of education.

On May 14, 2024, the ceremony of awarding diplomas and memorable gifts to the winners and runners-up of the Olympiad "Russia in the electronic World" took place. Participants gathered at the Presidential Library in St. Petersburg at Senate Square, 3, and at the venue of Tyumen branch of the Library. The event was attended by representatives of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
