The Presidential Library to host the 22nd Academic Council meeting

On December 1, 2023 at 10:00 the Presidential Library will host the regular 22nd Academic Council meeting, a permanent collegial advisory body of the library, in an online-remote format.

Chairman of the Academic Council, Director General of the Presidential Library Yuri Nosov will make a report. There will be performed speeches by the heads of organizations - members of the Academic Council, as well as experts from the Russian Historical Society, the Rudomino All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature, and the National Library of Belarus.

The Academic Council meeting will focus on the exchange of experience in solving the problems of historical education of youth. It will also consider issues of strengthening international ties with friendly countries, and discuss prospects for the development and use of the Presidential Library’s collections and services for these purposes.

The Academic Council assists in the development of the Presidential Library and its cooperation with other institutions.

The Сouncil represents many leading cultural, scientific and educational institutions of the Russian Federation from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Simferopol, Stavropol, Khabarovsk, Yakutsk.

The 22nd Academic Council meeting of the Presidential Library will be held at the address: St. Petersburg, Senate Square, 3, Academic Council Hall.

Accreditation of media representatives is until 10:00 November 30, 2023.

The letter should contain the full name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact phone numbers, the name of the media.

We draw the attention of the media representatives that it is necessary to forward applications for accreditation and arrive at the event in advance.

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: for media representatives - through entrance № 2, participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.

In order to reduce the risks of the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the use of personal protective equipment during the event is mandatory for all attendees.
