The Presidential Library will conduct a plenary meeting of the VIII St. Petersburg International Education Forum

A plenary session of the VIII St. Petersburg International Education Forum entitled “Modern Education: The Diversity of Opportunities in a Same Space” will take space in March 31, 2017, at 11 am in the Presidential Library. The event will be aired live on the Presidential Library website in the Live Broadcasts section.

Cabinet ministers of the Government of the Russian Federation, heads of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, members of the Government of St. Petersburg and deputies of the Legislative Assembly, heads of regional educational authorities, representatives of foreign delegations meeting will be attended by members of. The reports on the topic of the meeting will be made by Russian and foreign experts in the field of education, science and culture.

The Presidential Library has already become a traditional venue for the plenary session of the St. Petersburg Education Forum, the largest educational event in the Northwest region. Its goal is to draw the attention of the public, social structures and the business community to innovative educational processes, to maintain dialogue and exchange of experience between representatives of different countries and regions of Russia on the development strategy of educational systems, to expand interregional and international cooperation.

The main events of the forum will be held on March 29-31, 2017. Representatives of all regions of Russia and delegations from more than 20 foreign countries will take part in them (participation in the forum has already been confirmed by Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Spain, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, China, Latvia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Finland and a number Other states) - in total more than 12 thousand specialists in the field of education.
