On February 12, 2024 at 14:00 (Moscow time) the Presidential Library as part of the video lecture Knowledge of Russia will tell about the Council Code - a set of laws of the Russian state, adopted by the Zemsky Sobor in 1649 and valid until 1832. This year the monument to Russian law turns 375 years old.

The event is dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the encyclopedist scientist Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev (1834–1907), who distinguished himself in such scientific fields as chemistry, physics, metrology, economics, and instrument making.
