Publishing and Book Distribution: St. Petersburg International Book Salon to kick off

St. Petersburg International Book Salon will take place from May 23 to May 26, 2019. This year it marks the centenary of Daniil Granin’s birth. His friend - German writer Arno Surminski is invited to the forum. Moreover, St. Petersburg residents will have a chance to take part in Daniil Granin’s Marathon of Good – a campaign launched in an effort to collect books for rural libraries.

The book forum will bring together writers, historians, representatives of the literary community: literary critics, philologists, editors of popular magazines.

Writers and poets from France, Germany, Canada, Poland, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Georgia, Armenia and Belarus are also invited to the event in St. Petersburg.
