Libraries abroad: First digital library to be launched in Bahrain

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi who gave an account on the royal digital library project, the first of its kind to be established in Bahrain in line with His Majesty's directives to place the kingdom at the forefront of nations in deploying Information technology in all fields.

The Education Minister elaborated on the project touching on its objectives, mission, characteristics and designs, saying that it is in consonance with other relevant projects of cultural and educational nature. This project is expected to ease interaction with similar international libraries and projects in addition to being time and cost-effective for students and researchers.
