Research and Practical conference “Electronic libraries and electronic and library systems in Russia. Practice of implementation and peculiarities of normative-legal regulation” is held on December 5, 2012 in Moscow.

The conference is attended by leaders and specialists of organizations, implementing projects on the field of electronic libraries and electronic and library systems, representatives of publishing houses, public sector organizations, consulting companies, representatives of public authorities, implementing the public policy in the field, experts in the field of functioning of electronic and library systems.

The purpose of the Conference is the review and discussion of the main issues affecting the establishment, operation and the use of electronic libraries and electronic and library systems in Russia, the discussion of issues of law enforcement in this field, consideration of the legal regulation of the establishment and operation of electronic library resources in Russia, experience exchange and the promotion of the most successful projects in the field of electronic libraries and electronic and library systems in Russia as well as the review and discussion of the main issues affecting the prospects and directions of the further development of electronic libraries and electronic and library systems in Russia, created in compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and international agreements in the field of intellectual property as well as the consideration and discussion of issues affecting the prospects and directions of legislation improvement in the  field of electronic library resources.
