Internet and archives: The upgraded version of Internet portal “Archives of Russia” is presented

January 13, 2016 the Federal Archival Agency presented an upgraded version of the branch portal "Archives of Russia".

Portal "Archives of Russia" since 2001 is a specialized industry media outlet, designed to provide Internet information exchange among the Federal Archive Agency, authorized executive bodies of subjects of the Russian Federation in the field of archives, archival institutions and users of the Internet.

The portal provides a common information technology infrastructure in the field of archives, created through the integration of resources, information provision archival activities into a single information system.

The modernization solves the problem of the unification of software and information security, the creation of the technical possibilities for further growth and expansion of functionality, improving the information and the logical structure of the portal for the convenience of the end user with his materials.

The updated version of the portal "Archives of Russia" is running in a test mode.
