Internet and society: The Internet portal “Modern Russian language” designed to promote and develop the Russian language is presented

In Moscow was presented a website created within the project "Modern Russian language". The initiative was originated in Omsk eight years ago. The first website was launched in 2008.

Presentation of Internet portal "Modern Russian language" was held within the framework of the meeting of the Russian Language Council of the Russian Government under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets. The project designed to promote and develop the Russian language has become a shining example of effective public-private partnership.

A feature of the new resource is a service of linguistic emergency assistance. Russians will be able to get a totally free philological consultation by calling the experts on all of the sections of linguistics. In addition, this project is already running multimedia educational resources targeting foreigners. Websites "Closer to Russia" and "Images of Russian words", representing the international humanitarian project were created in order to strengthen Russia's position in the world and the formation of foreign audiences, loyal to our country.
