Internet and education: Website to support Russian schools abroad is launched in Russia

In Rossotrudnichestvo reported the launch of an information support system for Russian schools. The main aim of the website is to support the activities of Russian schools abroad, organizations engaged in educational activities in Russian or a foreign language in accordance with the Russian state educational standards.

The portal will provide information on announcements of seminars and conferences, training courses, cultural activities and events with the possibility of submitting applications to participate. For Russian schools will be given access to electronic libraries, containing a wide range of books, textbooks and manuals in Russian language, literature and culture of Russia.

It is planned that the school website can post information about themselves and their activities, to apply for the receipt of new textbooks, software, professional development of teachers, to make proposals for the improvement and promotion of Russian-language education in the country. Also, users of the website will be able to assess the appropriateness and relevance of network resources and teaching materials to improve them or to create new designs.
