
Employees of the Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library told students about the history of the Komsomol
October 12, 2018 employees of the Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library, running on the basis of the M. Yu. Lermontov Regional Library, in the framework of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Komsomol, familiarized students of the city school № 56 with the history of the creation of the Communist Youth Union.
The guys watched the video “Under the scarlet flags”, which tells about the role of the organization in the life of society, and “looked through” on the portal of the Presidential Library a literary and art and social-political magazine of Soviet schoolchildren “Pioneer”, which has been published since 1924.
Specialists of the regional center offered eighth-graders to answer the questions of the interactive Olympiad “Russia in the Electronic World”, which is held annually by the Presidential Library so they can test their knowledge of history, social studies and the Russian language.
On the website of the Presidential Library, the Penza Region is represented by the collection “The Penza Region: Pages of History”. The collection includes archive documents, essays, studies and statistical materials covering demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the Penza region of the late XVIII - first third of the XX century.
