
"Biblionoch" summed up in Yekaterinburg
The Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library has provided an open methodological meeting of working group 29-a “Libraries and Social Media” of the Russian Library Association and the Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library via video conferencing mode. The topic of professional discussions - “How the teleconference was arranged during the Biblionoch, and why it was violently hit the gong (online life experience)” - involved representatives of the library sphere in many regions of Russia in an interactive dialogue format.
Anastasia Rusina, head of the Sverdlovsk regional center of the Presidential Library, spoke at the meeting. She noted the importance of this event, talked about how a short-term action becomes an occasion for the development of new projects, helps to form a base of methodological developments that colleagues from other regions can refer to and use in their work. Anastasia Rusina described how interactive events (virtual exhibition, evening Olympiad) prepared on the basis of the content of the Presidential Library were integrated into the general program, and how one of the two leading events shared her impressions of the live broadcast.

Representatives of the regional network of the Presidential Library, professionals of the library industry who are willing to exchange experience of working libraries in special conditions are invited to view.
The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection “Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History”, which contains statistical materials, studies, essays and photographs of the 19th and early 20th centuries, introduces the geographical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects of the region’s history.
