Presidential Library participates in events with Human Rights Commissioner in Russian Federation
On October 22 and 23, 2025, in Moscow, the Presidential Library of the Adminisatrtive Directorate of the President of Russian Federation will participate in the anniversary 10th meeting of the Eurasian Alliance of Ombudsmen on the topic "Protecting the rights of residents of hard-to-reach, remote, and rural areas" and the 9th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems of Human Rights Protection: Exchange of Best Practices of Ombudsmen" on the topic "Human Rights Protection in the Context of Digitalization of Society." Ombudsmen from more than 60 countries are participating in the events.
The venue where the events are held features a demonstration stand of the Presidential Library with information materials about the institution's activities and its educational and awareness-raising projects: forums, conferences, competitions, video lectures, exhibitions, etc. You can also watch a video about the cooperation between the Presidential Library and the Human Rights Commissioner in the Russian Federation and the joint projects of these organizations.
The cooperation agreement between the Human Rights Commissioner in the Russian Federation and the Presidential Library was signed within the framework of the All-Russian Coordinating Council of Human Rights Commissioners, which took place in May 2023 in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
The agreement provides for the replenishment of the parties' library systems with publications and specialized literature on issues related to the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, joint expert analysis and scientific research, and the implementation of educational projects, including those using digital technologies.
One of the results of this joint effort was the online project "The President of the Russian Federation – Guarantor of Human Rights and Freedoms," dedicated to the institution of presidential power in our country and the activities of the head of state as guarantor of human and civil rights and freedoms. The electronic resource includes information from the digital collections of the Presidential Library Institution of Presidential Authority in Russia, Presidential Chronicle, Constitution – Basic Law, as well as materials provided by the office of the federal ombudsman. Thanks to this online project, users can familiarize themselves with official documents, research and scientific and practical guides, photographs, and video recordings related to the activities of the head of state.
