Presidential Library: the president of Paul Cezanne Society visits the Presidential Library

On 19 February to the Presidential Library came Denis Coutagne, Doctor of Art history, professor, the Chief curator of the Museums Direction of France, the president of Paul Cezanne Society, the head of the policy Committee of ‘Russia and ‘The global effect of Cezanne’ conference which will take place in the Presidential Library in the end of March. Mr. Coutagne got acquainted with the interior and technical facilities of the Library.

After the detailed examination of the Library the French guest met as planned with the Director General of the Presidential Library A. P. Vershinin. In the course of the meeting were discussed the issues of digitization and preservation of electronic documents, the aspects of the state of the modern art history as well as the possibilities of participation of the French museums in preparation of the virtual exposition ‘Anti-Hitler coalition’ in the Presidential Library timed for the 65^th anniversary of the Victory Day.

After that M. Goutagne gave an interview for Internet TV channel ‘Iskusstvo TV’.
