Security and responsibility of business discussed at the Presidential Library

September 18, 2013 the Presidential Library hosted a seminar for the specialists of "Gazpromneft". Representatives of the global energy company discussed the issues of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities.

In March this year, it was noted at the seminar, took effect the Federal Law of 04.03.2013 № 22-FZ "On amending the Federal Law "On industrial safety of hazardous production facilities." The company is one of five largest oil producers in Russia, and has the world's largest gas pipeline network. Therefore, its experts pay much attention to the prevention of a variety of accidents, in particular, public safety and environmental protection. One of the key points in this process is a specially organized training.

According to the organizers of the seminar, it was not accidental that the multimedia complex of the Presidential Library became the venue for the meeting. It provides a unique opportunity of presenting information. The hall is equipped in compliance with Russian developers’ designed and has no analogues in the world today. Each seat is equipped with a conferencing system, registration, voting, playback of audio and video materials broadcast in the halls. All the workstations provide access to the resources of the electronic reading room and the Internet. This, according to the organizers, will enable the specialists of the company to organize training at the highest level, which means, in the long term, prevention from possible disturbance to the functioning of hazardous production facilities.
