June 16, 2011 the Presidential Library signed a Co-operation Agreement with Krasnoyarsk Krai on establishment of a Library’s branch in the region. Thus Krasnoyarsk Krai officially joined the program on creation of the Presidential Library’s branches.

31 May 2011 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library opened the Electronic Reading Room in N. A. Nekrasov State University of Kostroma. Students, graduates and the university staff were provided access to the Presidential Library’s resources.
