Presidential Library participates in events with Human Rights Commissioner in Russian Federation

On October 22 and 23, 2025, in Moscow, the Presidential Library of the Adminisatrtive Directorate of the President of Russian Federation will participate in the anniversary 10th meeting of the Eurasian Alliance of Ombudsmen on the topic "Protecting the rights of residents of hard-to-reach, remote, and rural areas" and the 9th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems of Human Rights Protection: Exchange of Best Practices of Ombudsmen" on the topic "Human Rights Protection in the Context of Digitalization of Society." Ombudsmen from more than 60 countries are participating in the events.

Presidential Library's new electronic collection dedicated to 155th anniversary of Ivan Alekseyevich Bunin

155 years ago, on October 22 (October 10 according to the old calendar) 1870, Ivan Alekseevich Bunin was born – an outstanding writer, poet, and translator, the first Russian winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature (1933). His work was "removed" from literary circulation for many years due to his emigration – in the Soviet Union, the first collection of I. A. Bunin's works was published only in 1956.

Ostrom Gospel: unique monument of Slavic culture on portal of Presidential Library

The Ostromir Gospel is the oldest surviving Old Russian manuscript book, and it holds a special place in the history of Slavic writing and culture. A digital copy of the original manuscript, the Ostromir Gospel (1056–1057), which is kept in the Russian National Library, is available on the Presidential Library's portal.

Presidential Library invites schoolchildren and students to participate in academic competition in history, social studies and Russian language

From September 25, 2025, to March 26, 2026, the Presidential Library and the National Research University Higher School of Economics are holding an academic competition entitled "Russia in the Electronic World" in the subjects of history, social studies, and Russian language. High school and college students enrolled in secondary vocational education institutions in arts programs are invited to participate.
