Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of November 9, 2022 № 809 “On Approval of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values” classifies “a strong family” as a traditional value.

This collection familiarizes the reader with materials which describe architectural monuments, objects of decorative and applied art, discovered during archaeological excavations on the territory of the Russian State and besides the examples of Art, represented in cathedrals, churches, private and public collections.

The collection is dedicated to the history of the development of the education system in Russia, state policy in the field of education and enlightenment from the times of Ancient Rus' to the present, including the process of formation of educational institutions in the provinces, as well as modern federal districts. The collection involves materials about the evolution of teaching methods, the history of the creation and functioning of the most significant educational institutions, as well as biographies of outstanding teachers and mentors.
- Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky
The collection, dedicated to participants of the second people’s volunteer corps (militia) Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, who liberated Moscow from Polish invaders in 1612, includes publications of the 19th and 20th centuries, which cast light on the history of the volunteer corps, as well as materials commemorating the national heroes in Russian cities.
- Overcoming the Time of Troubles in Russia
At the turn of the 16th – 17th centuries in Russia there was a difficult internal and foreign political situation. Dynastic crisis caused by the death of the last of Rurikids; famine brought on by a succession of lean years, peasant uprisings; the Polish-Swedish intervention - all this has led to a civil war, questioning the very existence of the Russian state. Only the union of large popular forces – urban population, military men, free peasantry - helped preserve the independence of the country, restore the administrative and military systems and overcome the Troubles.
