In the selection of materials included: a photo of Yuri Mikhailovich Chigirev (1987, in a ceremonial suit, with awards), a photograph of the Zhukov medal and a certificate for the medal. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of February 19, 1996 Chigirev Yury Mikhailovich was awarded a medal in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of GK Zhukov. The medal is a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm, made of brass. On the front side of the medal: chest relief relief image of GK Zhukov, in the upper part - a relief inscription "George Zhukov", in the lower part - a relief image of laurel and oak branches. On the reverse side of the coin: in the center - the relief figures "1896-1996", in the lower part of the medal - a relief image of laurel and oak branches. The edges of the medal are edged with a ledge. The medal with the ear and ring is connected with a pentagonal shoe, covered with silk moire ribbon. The left half of the tape is red, on the right half of the tape - five longitudinal equal in width alternating bands: three black and two orange. Certificate to the medal: D No. 0472891. The document is filled with black ink, stamped. On the certificate is the handwritten signature of the President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin. Location: From a private collection. - Chigirev Yury Mikhailovich (born January 20, 1925 in Rostov, Yaroslavl Region) - went to the front in January 1943. He studied at the Tambov Machine-Gun School. Member of the Battle of Kursk. He fought in the Bryansk Front. Was injured. He fought in the third Belorussian Front. Participated in the combat operation "Bagration".
