Presidential Library participates in panel discussion on Alexander Nevsky

On 11 September 2025, Yuri Nosov, Director General of the Presidential Library and Chairman of the St. Petersburg Regional Branch of the Russian Military Historical Society, took part in a panel discussion entitled "Alexander Nevsky's Historical Choice and Its Significance" as part of the section "Traditional Values as the Basis for Cultural Dialogue." The event took place at the 11th St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures, which is being held from 11 to 13 September.

Presidential Library marks 90th anniversary of German Titov

September 11, 2025 marks the 90th anniversary of the birth of Soviet cosmonaut and Hero of the Soviet Union German Stepanovich Titov. He became the first person to spend more than 25 hours in orbit, or more precisely, 24 hours, 1 hour, and 18 minutes. During this time, the Vostok-2 spacecraft, piloted by the 25-year-old cosmonaut, completed 17 orbits around the Earth, covering 700,000 kilometers.

Presidential Library to participate in IV International Bibliographic Congress

From 16 to 19 September 2025, Yakutsk will host the IV International Bibliographic Congress "Bibliography in Preserving the Cultural Heritage and Linguistic Diversity of the Peoples of the World," which is being held as part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Library of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
