On the postcard picture of the view of the rocks near the Baydarskie gate, opening from the Yalta-Sevastopol highway. On Red Rock at an altitude of 472 meters above sea level is the Church of the Resurrection of Christ. It was built in 1892 according to the project of Academician NM Chagin in memory of the rescue of Emperor Alexander III and his family in the wreck of the train on October 17, 1888 at the station of Borki of the Kursk-Kharkov railway. The money for construction was allocated by the tea-grower A. G. Kuznetsov, the owner of the Foros estate, located at the foot of the Red Rock.
