The regional socio-political newspaper issued in Tver. The newspaper features regional life, the events and problems of Tver. The newspaper is published 5 times per week on 8 columns (on Thursday - on 24 columns). Issued from November 15 (28), 1917. Initially, the newspaper was entitled Proletarskaya Mysl' (Proletarian Thought) and was the press organ of the Tver Council of Workers' Deputies, the Central Bureau of Trade Unions and the Tver Council of the Factory and Plant Committees. From No. 5, the name of the newspaper was changed to Izvestia (News) of the Tver Council of Workers 'and Soldiers' Deputies. Since 1926 - Tverskaya Pravda (Tver Truth), since 1931 - Proletarskaya Pravda (Proletarian Truth), since 1952 - Kaliniskaya Pravda (Kalinin Truth), since 1990 - Tverskaya Zhizn (Tver Life). Ref.
