On March 21, 2019 the Russian State Library for Young Adults, Small Hall (Moscow) is holding the National Seminar “Digital Literacy and Library”. The live broadcast of the seminar will be available on Culture.RF portal and on the website of the Russian State Library for Young Adults.

The conference "Cadet Day in the Presidential Library" will be held on April 3, 2019 at 10:00 on Senate Square, 3.

On the World Theatre Day, which was celebrated on March 27, 2019, as part of the Year of Theatre in Russia the Stavropol State Museum-Reserve presented a travelling exhibition “The Oldest Theatre in the Caucasus”.

The National Library of Russia, New Building (St. Petersburg) has staged the exhibition “Nikolai Berdyaev: 145th Anniversary of Birth”, which is dedicated to life and work of the prominent Russian philosopher and religious thinker of the 20th century. The exhibition will run through April 14.

On March 28, 2019 at 10:00 a branch seminar on the theme “Information Technologies in Congress and Exhibition Activities” will be held in the Presidential Library. The event is organized by the Congress and Exhibition Bureau of the St. Petersburg Committee for the Development of Tourism and the Presidential Library.

The Pyotr Tchaikovsky International Charitable Foundation and Muzyka Publishers have completed the digitization of the composer’s complete works. The collection is now freely available on the foundation’s website.

The Presidential Library continues telling about the fate of residents and defenders of besieged Leningrad in the framework of a joint campaign with the newspaper Petersburg Diary and Radio Rossiya - St. Petersburg.

March 25, 2019 Specialist’s Day "Library Without Borders" was held for the teachers of the Russian language and literature of educational institutions of Crimea.

Cambridge and Heidelberg universities have announced a major project to digitize medieval manuscripts.

“Pushkiniana in 20th-Century Playbills” exhibition will open on April 2, 2019 in the Pushkin State Museum in Moscow. The museum houses over 800 playbills. There are more than 40 playbills and posters on display. Supplementary materials include graphic portraits, photographs, records, audio materials and objects of decorative and applied art from museum’s collections.

The exhibition under the title “Easter Holiday” will run in the Museum of History of the City in Astrakhan until May 5, 2019. Visitors will have a chance to see the series of “open letters”, which residents sent each other on the eve of the holiday in the late 19th – 1930s. The postcards are provided by famous collector Vladimir Gusev. Some of the cards on display have a very notable fate, which they shared with their owners.

April 30, 2019 the Electronic Reading Room of the Presidential Library will be open until 6 p.m. You may enter the building until 5 p.m. May 1-3, 2019 the Electronic Reading Room is closed for a holiday. It will be open on May 4 (Saturday).

The exhibition “Crimean Stories. Historical Chronicles of a Small Town in the Great History” will run in the Uglich Historical, Architectural and Art Museum until June 2, 2019.

The Belgorod State Local History Museum presents the exhibition “The Flaming Address of War”, which is dedicated to residents of Belgorod, who participated in the Great Patriotic War.

The Ministry of Defence of Russia has launched a new multimedia section featuring photographs, which show Victory commanders on the frontlines – during key strategic operations, famous battles, as well as before and after them – that is from the first until the last day of the war. It is part of the series of projects of the Ministry of Defence, which are dedicated to key figures of the Great Patriotic War.

On June 13, 2019 the Fedin State Museum (Saratov) presented the exhibition “I was an Actor”: Theatre in K. A. Fedin’s Life and Works”, which is timed to the Year of Theatre in Russia.

On June 18, 2019 the Museum of Urban Sculpture, the New Exhibition Hall (St. Petersburg) is presenting the exhibition “Leningrad. On the Eve", which is dedicated to the history of the city from the moment of its renaming to the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.

The exhibition “Steel Glitter. Artistic Weapons of the 18th–20th Centuries” has been staged in the Chambers Museum Center of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve.

The exhibition “Relics of Eternity: Book Monuments of the 15th — 19th Centuries from the Sacristy of the Assumption Cathedral” is presented in the Chambers Museum Center of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve.

The Day of Memory and Sorrow is marked in our country on June 22. Ahead of this day the State Archive of Contemporary History of Ulyanovsk Region is mounting the exhibition “They Were the First”. The exhibition is staged in the Book Palace – the Lenin Ulyanovsk Regional Research Library.

June 21, 2019 at 10:00 the Presidential Library will host the IV International Scientific Forum "Public Administration: the Role of Citizens in the Construction of a Digital State". The conference is organized by the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

Within the project of the Pushkin Tomsk Regional Universal Research Library “Summer in Pushkinka”, the staff of the Tomsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library held a play event for children “Quest on Pushkin’s fairy tales”.

State Library (Moscow), dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the Order of St. George.

An exhibition of the 14th-16th-century historical re-enactment is mounted at Smolensk fortress wall. The exposition is organized with the support of the regional branch of the Russian Military and Historical Society in Smolensk Region and the Cultural and Historical Monuments Management Agency.

On September 26, 2019, the Presidential Library, the Altai Regional Center and the Shishkov Altai Regional Research Library presented the new interregional historical project Mining and Metallurgical Industry in Russia, 18th c. – early 20th c., which comprises about 600 items: archival and museum documents, articles, monographs, photographs and maps, which illustrate the development of the mining industry in the Urals, Siberia and eastern Kazakhstan.
