Advanced training courses for teachers of Russian as a foreign language opened in Buenos Aires

Advanced training courses for teachers of Russian as a foreign language in the capital of Argentina supported by the Moscow Government at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Buenos Aires are underway. Classes are held by representatives of the Department of Russian and other Slavic languages of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

School museums of the city of Kemerovo to join the Family Chronicle of War project

A meeting of the heads of city school museums was held in Kemerovo on September 5, 2019. In the course of the event, employees of the Kemerovo Regional Center of the Presidential Library discussed the electronic collection “Family Chronicle of War”, the work on which began in 2015, the year of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The literary map “Bazhov was Here” and a walking tour of the same name were presented in the Library Information Centre in Yekaterinburg – the branch of the Municipal Association of Yekaterinburg Libraries. The year 2019 is proclaimed the Year of Pavel Bazhov (1879–1950) in Sverdlovsk Region and is timed to coincide with the 140th anniversary of the birth of the famous writer and folklorist.

Ahead of the anniversary the museum is launching the important project “125 Masterpieces of the Bakhrushin Museum”. October 29, 1894 is considered to be the date of founding of the Bakhrushin Museum. On that day the young merchant Alexei Bakhrushin presented his theatrical collection to the public for the first time.
