Space pioneers: Gagarin, Titov, Leonov. The Presidential Library marking the World Day of Aviation and Cosmonautics

April 12, 1961 the dream of mankind came true as the world's first spaceship-satellite Vostok was launched into orbit around Earth with a man on board - the Soviet pilot-cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. Thanks to the materials of the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Outer Space it is now possible to return to that significant day and feel the incredible delight that millions of people experienced.

The Presidential Library screened the works of the finalists of the contest of media projects of the festival "Everything starts from childhood"

On April 7, 2022 the Presidential Library hosted a screening of the works of the finalists of the media project contest of the festival “Everything starts from childhood”. The event was held as part of the 5th International Festival of Children's and Youth Creativity, dedicated this year to the image of Peter the Great in poetry and author's song of the 20th-21st centuries. The festival was organized by the Alexander Gorodnitsky Foundation for the Development and Popularization of Poetry and Author's Song and the Pushkin All-Russian Museum.
