The Day of Internal Troops the Presidential Library website offers an online concert

March 27, 2015, the Day of Internal Troops of the Russian Interior Ministry, at 15:00 the website of the Presidential Library will start broadcasting the concert of Song and Dance Ensemble of the Northwest Regional Command of Interior Forces conducted by Lt. Col. Alexei Cherednichenko recorded in the Presidential Library.

The band was formed in October 1962 by order of the chief of the internal troops of the North-West Major General A. M. Kopanyov. The personnel of the band over the years of its existence have performed at various concert venues in the North-West region, for the separately deployed military units of internal troops. Artists of the ensemble are working hard to inculcate in the soldiers of internal troops patriotism, loyalty to the military oath. Concert parties have repeatedly performed in "flashpoints", the artists have state awards.

The ensemble's repertoire includes mostly folk songs and songs of the Soviet composers. On the Presidential Library website the ensemble will perform the songs loved by all, such as "Monotonously rattles the bell", "Soldiers", "Officers’ waltz", and will also dance the sailors’ dance "Yablochko", the "Pereplyas" and other best ensemble performances.
