The portal of the Moscow libraries "Bibliogorod" has been completely updated. Now there is available up-to-date information on the capital's libraries (there are 441 of them in total) of the Department of Culture. The website has an interactive map that will help you find the necessary reading room in any area, as well as find out its exact address, schedule and get other information.

At first the whole Petersburg watched as piles - 1250 piles on 6 meters in length each were hammered under the basis of a pedestal of the Alexander Column. Then - how they installed this stone colossus with the help of specially designed forests and cable tunnels. It took only 1 hour and 45 minutes, but the event involved 2400 soldiers, lifting the column on the pedestal.
