On December 28, 2022, new exhibition halls The History of St. Petersburg. The XVIII Century opened in the Commandant’s House of the Peter and Paul Fortress (St. Petersburg). They are part of the main exposition of the museum dedicated to the pre-revolutionary history of the city on the Neva. With this project, the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg completes the anniversary year 2022, dedicated to the celebration of the 350th anniversary of Peter the Great.
