Now if you want to learn about the history of space exploration and daily life of cosmonauts or see the model of the base block of Mir space station you don’t need to go to museums of Moscow (the Museum of Cosmonautics, the Monument to the Conquerors of Space and the House-Museum of Academician Sergey Korolev).

On April 7, 2021, the State Museum of Oriental Art (Moscow) will launch athe "Walking to the Stars" exhibition by the cosmic artist Boris Smirnov-Rusetsky. It marks a significant date - the 60th anniversary of the first manned space-flight in history. On April 12, 1961, the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first man who made the flight around the planet Earth.

The Presidential Library hosted a cinema club meeting dedicated to the centenary anniversary of Mikhail Kalashnikov. The event was co-organized by the Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineers and Signal Corps. At the end of watching the film by Rasim Poloskin “Kalashnikov. A Man and an Assault Rifle”, the meeting participants, mainly cadets of military schools, talked about creating a unique “kalash” and a non-standard personality of its designer.
