On this day, the audience will have a meeting with the biologist Pavel Glazkov, a naturalist, candidate of biological sciences, who leads the video blog “Two of every kind” which tells about animals living in Leningrad Region. His motto is love for nature through its knowledge.

October 26, 2021, at 11:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library hosted a video lecture entitled "Animals in the Works of Dostoevsky" as part of the Knowledge of Russia project. The event is the eighth in the series of lectures "Fyodor Dostoevsky – Conversation about Values" dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the world famous writer, which will be celebrated on November 11, 2021.

On October 4, 2019 at 3 p.m. the Presidential Library will hold the Cinema Club meeting dedicated to the World Animal Day. On this day the audience will meet with Pavel Glazkov, a naturalist, PhD in Biology, who runs “Two of Every Kind” video blog, which is about animals living in Leningrad region. His motto is love for nature through learning. The program features four film premieres.

January 29, 2020, marks the 160th anniversary of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, one of the most popular Russian writers. The specialists of the Presidential Library prepared a new large collection “Anton Chekhov (1860–1904)”, which features different aspects of the writer’s personality, life, and work. The collection includes digital copies of rare books, periodicals and archival documents, postcards, and photographs, as well as the texts of his oeuvres, articles, and letters.

The State Historical Museum (Moscow) will launch a new mobile app with an audio guide before the year is out. The new service will feature over 200 audio files dedicated to unique exhibits, including the famous Galich city hoard with its animal figurines, Alexander II’s pen, Ivan the Terrible’s sackcloth (hair-shirt), Prince Vladimir’s gold coin and many other things.

On the International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22, 2018, a creative meeting with the author of animal films of Russia, the founder of the project "New Zoological Museum", Candidate of Biological Sciences, Pavel Glazkov, was held at the Presidential Library cinema club. The participants of the cinema club watched and discussed three short films: about moose, boars and beavers.

The State Darwin Museum launched the "Loyalty to the Old Days and the Belief in the Miraculous" exhibition. It introduces to the Kenozero National Park - a specially protected natural area, a place of the prehistoric human inhabitation, traditional farming, local crafts, culture and language. The National Park aims not only to protect rare species of animals and plants but also to preserve and restore monuments of wooden architecture.
