On October 18, 2023 signing the agreements and opening of remote access centers to the resources of the Presidential Library were held in key libraries of Republic of Belarus – the Pushkin Minsk Regional Library, the Gorky Brest Regional Library, the Lenin Vitebsk Regional Library, the Lenin Mogilev Regional Library, the Orsha Centralized Library System, the Yanka Kupala Central Library and Slutsk District Central Library.

July 28, 1828 in Mogilev province, in the family of a Russian general, was born Joseph Vladimirovich Gurko (Romeiko-Gurko), Russian statesman and military leader, Field Marshal (1894), a member of the State Council of the Russian Empire (1886), Governor-General of Privislinsky area (1883-94) and commander of the Warsaw military District, the hero of the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-78.
