The exhibition “He was a Stranger in this World. He was a Mystery…” will be open in the Reading Room of the Gogol House in Moscow until October 27, 2019. The exhibition in commemoration of the 205th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Lermontov showcases art albums, rare books (which contain illustrations by M. Vrubel, M. Zichy, P. Bunin), visual materials featuring works of different artists-illustrators, sheet music and vinyl recordings of opera and readings, and detailed commentaries.
