Russia is likely to launch its united digital library which will provide pupils and students with a free access to electronic educational literature. A proposal focused on development of the relevant target program will be in the near future submitted to the Government of Russia, as well as to the State Duma Committees on Youth Affairs and Education.

Seizure of Noteborg and Nyenschantz fortresses enabled the Russian troops to control the entire extent of Neva from Ladoga Lake to the Gulf of Finland and opened for it the way to Baltic. However the Swedish fleet continued to threaten Russia.

Sergei Porfiryevich Shvetsov was born on February 13 (25), 1858 in Kursk Governorate in a noble family. His father, Porfiry Vasilyevich Shvetsov, was a collegiate councillor. After a while, the family moved to Arkhangelsk Governorate, where the head of the family served as a police officer of the District Police Department in Kholmogory, and the son studied at the Arkhangelsk Gymnasium, but did not finish the course.

The electronic holdings of the Presidential Library has been replenished with issues of the magazine Русский мир.ru, (Russkiy Mir.ru) which is published in Moscow by the Russkiy Mir Foundation. Currently, the issues of the magazine from 2007 to 2019 are available in the electronic reading rooms of the library. It is planned that the collections will also include issues of magazines from 2020 to 2024.
