The website of the project Libraries as Witnesses of the Great Victory, organized by the Rudomino Library for Foreign Literature, provides the story of Zinaida Arkadyevna Itkina, a resident of the besieged Leningrad. The materials for publication were provided by the Presidential Library, which became a participant of an international campaign that combined the national libraries of the CIS and SCO countries (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan).

The Literacy Center of the Gorky Ryazan Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted the opening of an exhibition of works by young craftswomen “Ryazanochki”. It features author's products made by students of the "Vyshevka" and "Kruzhevo" workshops of Children's Art School No. 1. Employees of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library entered the exposition with materials from the institution's collections telling about the national costumes of the peoples of Russia.

June 22, 2018 is the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow. On this day, 78 years ago, the Great Patriotic War began. A large-scale collection «The Memory of the Great Victory» available on the presidential library’s website has been built and constantly enlarged. It comprises a wide variety of materials, in particular those which read about the beginning of the Soviet Union’s opposition to the aggressor which had been lasting for almost 1,500 days.
