IT and History: The media resource “Through the Roads of War: the Liberation of Stavropolye” presented in the Stavropol Regional Library

The media resource Through the Roads of War: the Liberation of Stavropolye, created jointly by municipal libraries, the public and citizens, is presented in the Lermontov Stavropol Regional Universal Research Library within the framework of the local patriotic marathon Parade of the Immortal Glory of Stavropolye. It features a large archive of memories of participants of the wartime events and witnesses of the liberation of Stavropolye.

April 6 and 8, 2021 the Birobidzhan Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Sholem Aleichem Birobidzhan Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a historical game dedicated to the celebration of the 800th anniversary of the birth of the great commander and statesman of Russia Alexander Nevsky. The event was attended by pupils of the orphanage No. 2, a social rehabilitation center for minors and cadets of the Orthodox military-patriotic cadet center.

Ahead of celebrations on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Ministry of Defence of Russia is presenting a special section of the “Victory Commanders: Peaceful Moments of Fate” military and patriotic project - a gallery of unique photographs from family albums, which show the daily life of famous commanders and generals of the Great Patriotic War. This is a joint project of the Ministry of Defence of Russia and the Memory of Victory Commanders Foundation.

April 5, 2018 the regional center of the Presidential Library, acting on the basis of the Pushkin Magadan Regional Universal Scientific Library, hosts conference-webinar "Cadet Day", which is timed to the 75th anniversary of the creation of the first Suvorov and Nakhimov schools. The event was attended by schoolchildren from the All-Russian Children and Youth Military-Patriotic Movement "YUNARMIA".
