Sergei Rachmaninoff, a brilliant pianist and composer of the Silver Age, was born 150 years ago on April 1, 1873. Even despite the fact that after the October Revolution he emigrated to America and lived there for the last third of his life, his name is forever associated with Russian music, and his works are known and loved all over the world.
