Internet and Culture: Uffizi Gallery to provide open access to unique illustrations of Dante’s "Divine Comedy"

This year marks the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri's death in 1321. The Italian poet and philosopher is the famous author of the "Divine Comedy", a three-part epic poem describing his journey to hell, limbo and heaven.

World Culture: "Dante. Secret Worlds" cultural and educational project launched at the Russian State Library in Moscow

Consul General of Italy in Moscow Francesco Forte launched a free cultural and educational project - "Dante. Secret Worlds" in the Russian State Library, which is holding under the patronage of the Italian Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano. On March 5 the lecture entitled “Purgatory. Last Suffering ” (“ Purgatorio. Le Ultime Sofferenze") will take place.
