Presidential Library to showcase exposition on the history of the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission in Crimea

Archival records on much publicized cases of the XX century, rare photographs, as well as other unique materials will be showcased in Crimea by the Presidential Library. The exposition "Shield and Sword of the Revolution": security officer in life, cinema and literature" will be open on September 11 in the exhibition hall of the Yulian Semyonov House Museum in Yalta and will run until December 20, 2018.

Thanks to the new multimedia product, everyone can see the exposition, which is opened in the building on Senate Square from December 18, 2017 to February 25, 2018.

December 27, 1990 a decree by the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR № 606 "On the establishment of the Russian Rescue Corps as the RSFSR State Committee, as well as the formation of a unified state and social system of forecasting, prevention and emergency response" was adopted. In April 1991 the head of the Rescue Corps was appointed Major-General Sergei Shoigu, who is currently head of the Russian Ministry of emergency situations.
