The event is the eighth in the series of lectures "Fyodor Dostoevsky – Conversation about Values" dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the world famous writer, which will be celebrated on November 11, 2021.

On October 16, 2024 at 16:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library will host the second part of a lecture on the role of the NKVD in the defence of Leningrad during World War II. The lecture will be given by Sergey Ratz, a Candidate of Political Sciences and Associate Professor, as well as the President of the Foundation for Support of Reserve Officers of State Security. The first part of the lecture was held at the Presidential Library on September 18th, 2024.
