History of Russia: The exhibition «Fiery Kursk” in Khakassia

August 23, 2013 the whole country celebrates the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet troops in the Battle of Kursk. By this date, the N. G. Domozhakov National Library of the Republic of Khakassia (Abakan) has prepared a book exhibition “Fiery Kursk”.

The exhibition “They Brought the Victory Closer. At Burning Lines of War” is underway in the Main Archive Directorate of Moscow. The exhibition project based on documents from the city’s archive collections is timed to coincide with the 74th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.

To the 73rd anniversary of the Great Victory: Kursk presents an exhibition of posters and front-line drawings "On the Fire Arc" dedicated to the Battle of Kursk

The A. A. Deineka Kursk Picture Gallery until May 25, 2018 hosts an art exhibition "On the Fire Arc" created on the basis of a collection of posters and front-line drawings from the funds of the Victory Museum (Moscow) and dedicated to the Battle of Kursk. In total, the exhibition presents about 50 works of art, which were created in 1943 by more than three dozen artists.

Bunge’s expedition to the New Siberian Islands (1885-1886), leader of the expedition to the northern regions of Yakutia and the Russian polar expedition on the schooner "Zarya" (1900-1902), Baron Eduard V. Toll.
