Nikolayevsky Post on Amur founded
13 August 1850
On August 1 (13) 1850 the Russian navigator Gennady Ivanovich Nevelskoy founded the first military administrative settlement — Nikolayevsky Post, located on the Amur River, which later grew into the city of Nikolayevsk-on-Amur.

The "Komsomolsk-on-Amur city archives" have digitized more than 900 cases. The project experts of ELAR Corporation scanned 65 thousand pages, spent indexing of documents and PDF-formed book. Things are digitized for preservation and increase of access to them by the institutions users.

The exhibition Jewels with Secrets. From the Sixteenth to the Twenty-First Centuries has opened in the Blue Bedroom of the Winter Palace (State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg). For the first time ever, the exposition brings together pieces of jewellery from the collections of the State Hermitage Museum that contain various secrets, such as hiding compartments, surprises, hidden meanings.
