Travel through historic streets of Moscow and St. Petersburg with Presidential Library

The electronic holdings of the Presidential Library has been enriched with a new publication by Karl Nistrem, Address-calendar of Moscow Residents. 1846. The guide book invites readers to "travel" through the addresses of Moscow in the 19th century and discover many interesting facts.

The first English-Russian toponymic encyclopedia to be presented at the Presidential Library

On the eve of the FIFA 2018 FIFA World Cup, on February 9 at 14:00 the Presidential Library will host a press conference where the Anglo-Russian toponymic online encyclopedia "Saint-Petersburg" will be presented for the first time. It contains the names of all objects of the urban environment of St. Petersburg written in Latin: railway stations, monuments, post offices, schools and others. These names can be used on city signs, transport schemes, in guidebooks for tourists.
