February 21, 2018, on the eve of the Defender of the Fatherland Day, in the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve, the opening of the exhibition "Armory history. West and East" was held. The exhibition presents cold and firearms of the XVIII - XX centuries from different countries and continents. This is a joint project of the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve and D. G. Burylin Ivanovo Museum of History and Local History. The rich weapons funds of both museums participating in the exhibition will make it possible to visually present the history of weapons development in the XVIII - first quarter of the XX century both in Western countries and in Eastern states.
Multimedia exhibition of the Russian Military-Historical Society "War and myths" will be open on February 23, 2018 in Veliky Novgorod, in the shopping center "Marmalade". Everyone can visit the exposition. The exhibition "War and Myths" uses modern exhibition technologies. The interactive format will allow the viewer to get familiar with unique video and photo materials, declassified documents and unknown war artifacts.
Within the framework of the long-term cooperation program with the Republic of Tatarstan, following the exhibition "The Genius of the Century" held in Kazan, the State Tretyakov Gallery opens in its halls the exhibition "The Tale of the City of Sviyazhsk", which recalls the historical significance of this ancient city and shows the unique monuments that have survived to this day, connected with its foundation.
Since February 22, 2018 in the main building of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve, the exhibition "Ancient Moscow of Apollinariy Vasnetsov. Autolithographs from the collections of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve". The exhibition features twelve sheets of the album "A. Vasnetsov. Ancient Moscow. Autolithographs", published in the early 1920s in Soviet Russia. In 2007, these lithographs were transferred to the Novgorod Museum-Reserve by the famous Novgorod art lover and philanthropist Alexander Odinokov.
