The history and present time of the indigenous peoples of the North considered at the Presidential Library
On February 25, 2022 the Presidential Library hosted a video lecture entitled “Indigenous Peoples of the North: History and Present Time” as part of the Knowledge of Russia project. The event became a part of the program of the traditional annual conference "Arctic Day at the Presidential Library".

The Presidential Library hosted a video lecture dedicated to the historian Viktor Paneyakh (1930–2017) as part of the Knowledge of Russia project. The lecture continued the series Outstanding Historians of the 19th-20th Centuries which the Presidential Library is conducting jointly with the St. Petersburg Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).
The Presidential Library hosted ethno-dictation in the languages of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East
On February 18, 2022 the Presidential Library hosted the third ethnographic dictation in the native languages of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East, timed to coincide with the International Decade of Indigenous Languages and International Mother Language Day which is celebrated on February 21.
The exhibition dedicated to Russian heraldry opened at the Presidential Library
On February 17, 2022 the historical building of the Synod on Senate Square, 3 hosted the grand opening of the exhibition "Heraldic Art". The exposition was prepared by the Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation and the Presidential Library and is timed to coincide with the 300th anniversary of the establishment of the King of Arms by Peter the Great, as well as the 30th anniversary of the restoration of the Heraldic Service in the Russian Federation.

The results of the second stage of the interactive Olympiad Russia in the Electronic World summed up
From December 20, 2021 to January 21, 2022 the Presidential Library hosted the second stage of the twelfth annual interactive Olympiad Russia in the Electronic World in history, social science and the Russian language, which involved 555 schoolchildren. In total, this year the number of participants in the first stage was more than 3,000 people.

2022 marks the 250th anniversary of Mikhail Mikhailovich Speransky, an outstanding statesman, lawyer and lawmaker. This is a worthy occasion to revisit the legacy of the famous personality, to rethink his role in the evolution of the Russian state and law, to recall the documents and testimonies of contemporaries and to introduce new materials into scientific circulation.
