310 years ago, on November 19 (November 8, old style), 1711, Mikhail Lomonosov was born. He is a statesman, initiator of science and public education in Russia, an outstanding world-class encyclopedist and poet who laid the foundations of the Russian literary language.

Media contest supported by the Presidential Library to show color of the North Caucasus
We continue to accept applications for the V All-Russian annual media contest Kavkaz.doc, designed to capture the North Caucasus in all its manifestations. The contest is supported by the Presidential Library, the Head and Government of Karachay-Cherkessia. This is a large-scale, already traditional event of the first in the North Caucasus information and educational center of the Presidential Library based on the republican TV channel of Karachay-Cherkessia Arkhyz 24.
