The Presidential Library will host the forum "Society. Culture. Media: Problems and Prospects of Interaction"

April 19, 2018, 10:00 the Presidential Library will host the forum "Society. Culture. Media: Problems and Prospects of Interaction". The event is organized by the Public Chamber of St. Petersburg and the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.

The forum is a unique platform for meetings, open dialogue and exchange of experience between cultural experts and representatives of the professional community of journalists.

The plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the North-West Federal District Alexander Beglov, the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko, the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky, the head of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications Mikhail Seslavinsky, the secretary of the Public Chamber Valery Fadeyev, the chairman of the Public Chamber of Saint- Petersburg Nina Kukuruzova will participate in the event.

The forum is designed to analyze the coverage of the country's cultural life in the media and outline the ways of constructive interaction between cultural figures and journalists. In addition, during the discussions such important topics as media responsibility to society, patriotism and the volunteer movement will be touched upon.

The program of the forum includes a plenary session, thematic round tables and a master class. Participants of the event will be the heads of commissions and members of the public chambers of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg, other regions, representatives of government authorities, cultural figures, journalists and heads of major media.

Accreditation for media representatives covering the event is available until 12:00, April 18, 2018.

Applications for accreditation should be sent in the attached form with a note "Media accreditation" to the email address: press_opspb@mail.ru, Vasily Yakovlev, tel. +7 921 941-23-47.

 

The letter should contain the full name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact numbers, name of the media.

Please, note, that the entrance to the Presidential Library for media representatives is carried out only by prior request and upon showing a passport through the entrance № 2.
