Finalists in the multimedia category of the media projects contest of the III International Festival of Children's Creativity "Everything Begins With a childhood” to be awarded in the Presidential Library

A new cinema club meeting will take place in the Presidential Library on February 4, 2020, at 15:00. It will be held as part of the III International Festival of Children's Creativity "Everything Begins With a childhood”, dedicated to the history of Saint Petersburg in poetry and author song of the XX-XXI centuries. The festival is organized by the Alexander Gorodnitsky Foundation for the Development and Promotion of Poetry and Author Songs and the National Pushkin Museum.

The festival is designed to educate the younger generation with a sense of patriotism, respect for the historical and cultural heritage of their homeland, and its cultural capital - Saint Petersburg; to involve young people in active research and creative activities; to identify and support talented children and creative youth.

It is the third year when the Presidential Library is providing its venue for the final competition of media projects created by talented schoolchildren of Saint Petersburg.

Being an electronic source of information, the Presidential Library's cinema club is developing the demonstration of youth art activities with the use of multimedia technologies, considering it as the key direction of its work.

The cinema club program consists of a screening and discussion of 11 works by children - finalists of the festival’s media project competition in three formats: animation, video clip, and video film.

The cinema club meeting will be held at Senatskaya Square,3, where the winners of the final will be able to see their work on the big screen in the multimedia hall of the Presidential Library.

We invite you to participate in the event, ask a question or express your opinion on the results of the cinema club meeting. We look forward to an interesting, informative dialogue. Also, the event will be available live on the Presidential Library portal.

The letter should contain the name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact numbers, name of the media.

We draw the attention of media representatives that it is necessary to forward applications for accreditation and arrive at the event in advance.

The admission to the Presidential Library is possible only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: media representatives go through the entrance № 2; participants and guests of the event go through the entrance № 1.
